This device is powered by the Cortex-A53 CPU using arm64 architecture. It has 8 cores alongside an integrated disk storage of 32 or 64 GB. An SD-Card Slot is not available. Complex games or working with several apps at the same time requires a lot of working memory (RAM). The BQ Aquaris X uses 3 or 4 GB working memory (RAM).

This Phone supports Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Bluetooth is compatible with 4.2 A2DP + aptX.
